During extreme operating conditions, the air valve can experience spool centering, causing pressure to equalize behind each diaphragm and preventing the pump from cycling. To address this condition, Yamada offers two pneumatic solutions based on pump size.

• Smart Valve Technology (SVT) for NDP-20, NDP-25, and NDP-32 series pumps.
• Anti-Stall Plate (ASP) for NDP-40, NDP-50, and NDP-80 series pumps.

Both solutions are available as retrofit kits for applicable pumps and pneumatically activate the air valve to quickly restore pump operation without the need for electrical components or field adjustments.
